I am a full time Faringdon guitar teacher offering private Electric and Acoustic Guitar Lessons from my home studio servicing students from Faringdon, Highworth, Shrivenham, Bourton, Bishopstone, Upper Lambourn, Wantage, Hatford. I also offer peripatetic teaching in primary and secondary schools.

I started playing guitar over 18 years ago. I had structured guitar lessons from an early age from a very enthusiastic teacher. I was taught music that was relevant to me. This made it engaging and exciting which is exactly how I like to teach.
Lessons for adults and children are tailored to the individual and their musical tastes. Whether its Blues to 80’s Rock to Rock & Roll or Pop, Folk… learn the music that you are passionate about. Kids can learn songs from today’s charts with an exciting program of modern music.
I encourage and can help students prepare for music performances. I have many years performance experience with various bands and am currently in “Bush Fyre” a four-piece playing originals, covers of classic 80’s rock and modern pop songs converted into rock versions. Great fun!!! This experience has made me a very practical teacher. I can explain technique and music theory in real and practical way making everything easier to digest and making you a better player.
I have been writing and recording music for many years. I can help develop your song writing skills and have the facilities to record professional quality guitar, bass and vocals.
I have lots of guitars, amps and effects pedals providing a huge variation of guitar sounds and tones to inspire students young and old. From valve heads to blues combos and digital modelling amps.
